Is it possible to split a dish tv box to go to 3 tvs?

we hav 3 tvs and we have dish going to 2, is it possible to put it on 3 tvs? without the extra monthly cost?|||You need a separate receiver for each TV. If you put in a splitter after one of your existing receivers, two TVs will have to watch the same channel all the time.

The real question is, will you need MORE than just the new receiver? If your dish has a dual LNB but no multiswitch, you'll have two coax cables coming out of it into your home, with one being routed to each TV. If this is the case, you'll need to buy a separate multiswitch. For basic setups, (round dish, no HD, etc.) you can buy a multiswitch for under $50. The two cables from the dish attach to one side, and there with typically be four outputs, so you can attach four receivers. (There are models available with eight outputs.)|||You could use a splitter, but you will be watching the same program as what is on the TV you put the splitter on.|||You probably could split it, but I can almost guarantee that the provider will be able to tell that more then one TV is picking up the 3 different feeds.
