I need to record tv shows from dish tv while watching other tv shows. How can i do it? Have you guys ever tried it?|||press the record button|||You have to have a dvr and all you do is pick the show you want from the cable guide and push record and follow the prompts.
If your watching the show and push record, you will record that show unless you have the dvr that works on tv 1 and tv2. Then you just record it to the other tv as long as someone isn't watching it.
That dvr is called a dual dvr, one dvr for 2 tv's
