I have purchased a old dish tv set up box so i would know that how many year is best for use|||Your question makes no sense.
Where are you physically located? A Dish TV box will only work within the US or very close by.|||if the power supply voltage was normally give then a set up box can be used for 3 to 4 minimum,
bcoz electronics components used in them depends on the power supply
more then the rate power supply reduces the components life day by day,
lower then rate power reduces the performance of the set up box,
never by any product beyond 4yrs unless working in good condition|||If it's an analogue receiver then not very long as most satellite TV channels have gone digital. If it's a digital receiver then as long as the electronics keep working.
