I moved into a new place and there is a direct dv dish on my deck the full dish is there, the cables, the metal box the cables come into and then out of. The only thing I don't have is the receiver. Is there anything I can do with this set up?|||Call DirecTV (800-DirecTV) and tell them you are upgrading to HDTV. They will come out and install the new HD dish for free, in place of the old one, and rent you a receiver.
You can use the old one, but why when you can get the upgrade for free?
It's nice that the wiring is in!|||call direct tv and get a reciver|||yes you can still use it and pick out a reciever
