If a direct tv dish is already installed, do you get a discount or something?

I moved into a duplex i am renting and their is already a dish hooked up on the roof to the duplex. The cables run throughout every room, including the kitchen, of the duplex so all of the installation work looks complete. If i were to decide to purchase dish tv services, would it be cheaper considering the work is already done or is it same price?|||How did DirecTV answer your question?
