Can dish tv receiver give two tvs HD programming?

I have the top of the line dish receiver that I run two tvs off of. The one has the physical box attached to it and the other just has the coax wire from the wall to the tv. Both tvs are HD tvs. The one thats connected directly to the box is fine and displays HD. The one that just has the coax isnt displaying HD. My question is is here something that I can buy that would make that an hd signal also?|||You cannot get HD out of the 2nd RF out. It is SD only.

To get HD, you need to connect the second HD set to the HD out on the box, which means since the HD output is only for TV #1 on that box, both TVs get the same program, or get a second HD receiver to independently watch in HD on the second TV.|||I have the same set up and both tv's have HD programming. Go into the menu of the one that isn't getting it and see if you have your setting on HD. Also, make sure you are using the best cable available for the tv, if it has a hdmi connection, that's the best way to go.

If you don't have better results, it could be the hd receiver and you have to call Dish.

Good luck|||Classics is correct.

You need to get a second HD receiver from Dish. It is about $5/month extra + some initial cost (less than $100)
