I want some contact details of person who can install dish tv at my home in dubai. Is it okay still , because i guess that is much cheaper than dubai local cable tv.Can anyone give some idea ?|||if you have the reciever with you then just contact any shops which sells dish antenna n reciver in the city ,they ll fix it for you.|||I am assuming that both the services are available in your area.
Well, personal choice, TATA Sky Plus. I use it and its good. Tata Sky Plus gives you other features like pause, rewind, record, fast forward (the recorded part). It comes quite handy when you dont stay back home that often.
If you are not willing to get a PLUS, then both are same. DISH TV and TATA SKY both have equal reception. Although, as i am from India, the support from TATA SKY is good as compared to DISH TV in my area. Although, there are people with different opinions out here.
Although, TATA Photon has come up wid Broadband TV. Just plug it in your Machine and Play it. I mean, connect it on ur computer/laptop and get LIVE TV. I believe that would be a good buy for you.

Note: The only isssue with DTH services is that when it rains, your reception is completely screwed up as the antenna is very small (i am talking about a personal connection. When an entire apartment takes the connection, the antenna is bigger. It for sure gives issues, but its better than the personal one). But I believe you do not need to worry a lot in this regards. It doesnt rain that hard in DUBAI ;)
