What is the difference between DirectTv and Dish TV?

Which one is the better?|||The difference, well they each have pros and cons, dish seems to give you more as far as installed rooms for ur money. Directv gives you more advanced receivers, more channels, they even have rights to programs you no longer can find on regular television, plus there is the NFL SUNDAY TICKET, which is the best sports program out there, and only DIRECTV has the rights and the money to even bid on it. DIRECTV also now has DOonDemand, which is awsome, plust gamelounge where you can play games using ur remote. Cons, Dish network channel selection, menu, guides, suck, the interative crap on thier receiver is so behind versus directv interatative menus. Directv cons, It seems lately everything is coming at a price, meaning they are getting greedy, which technically is something they can afford. Nothing is for free anymore, even upgrades, unless u been with them for 7 years or more, or a new customer don't expect to get much for free.|||they are pretty much the same same channels but named differently like dish sci-fi and direct tv syfy is the same channels and get the same programming-dish is better of getting the new releases faster on ppv or vod where as direct tv gets them like 2 months after and direct tv has some ppv but their movies i have never heard of, usually b rating
